Cartier fits in house calibers to the Drive line. Cartier lists the 1904-PS MC in the small seconds Drive. A replica does not carry that movement. A clone can look close through a display back and sit wrong at the balance wheel.
Dial and case details
- Stamped guilloche dial: lines radiate from the center. On copies the stamping is shallow and the lines soften near the date window.
- Roman numerals: printed and applied versions both exist. Edges should stay sharp under a loupe.
- Hands: heat blued steel shifts color at an angle. Painted blue does not.

- Caseback: reference number and serial should match the model name the seller uses.
- Strap and clasp: Cartier fits alligator straps and a folding clasp on most Drive references. Copies ship with embossed calf or a generic clasp.
Price, returns, legal status
Sellers quote replica Drive models from about $150 to $500. Quartz sits at the low end, a Miyota or a clone at the high end. No third party grades these watches, so the price is the seller's number.
